Rabba Roots Charity Golf Classic honors community causes-$20,000 presented in support of Trillium Health Partners Foundation

Mississauga, Ont., October 17, 2022 – Rabba Fine Foods, the GTA’s neighbourhood market, held its 24th annual golf fundraiser September 12, 2022, at the Brampton Golf Club. The event welcomed partners from the grocery industry in support of the Rabba Roots community program. Rabba celebrated with a tribute donation of $20,000 to its long-time partner, Trillium Health Partners. Additional donations will be made to several local charitable organizations through the company’s Rabba Roots program including The Mississauga Food Bank and Good Shepherd Ministries.

Rabba has a long-standing relationship with Trillium Health Network, particularly in support of its intensive care units and emergency services since 1995.

Tom Shurrie, President & CEO at Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers acted as Master of Ceremonies for the golf event.
