A typical day in the distribution center involves sorting incoming shipments, organizing them into the proper sections, stocking shelves or arranging pallets with product boxes ready for distribution. Additional duties may include operating forklifts or other material handling equipment, as well as using digital scanners to track inventory levels. Warehouse workers also need to be able to identify any damaged packages or products so they can be properly addressed right away.
