Cheesy Pull Apart Bread
The holiday season is upon us…
and there’s no better way to spread joy and warmth than through the shared experience of delicious food. Whether you’re hosting a festive get-together or simply looking for a comforting treat to enjoy with loved ones, our Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread recipe is bound to be the star of your holiday table. Imagine a golden-brown loaf, oozing with melted cheese and garlic, creating an irresistible aroma that fills your kitchen with the spirit of the season. Can you picture it? Good – let’s make it!
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of your favourite bread from the Rabba bakery
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded Tre Stelle Mozzarella
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Bread:
- Carefully using a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts through the bread, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Make sure not to cut through the bottom crust so that the loaf stays intact.
- Rotate the bread and make additional diagonal cuts, creating a diamond pattern.
Cheese Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, shredded cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Stuff the Bread:
- Using a spoon or your hands, carefully open the cuts in the bread and stuff the cheese mixture into the openings, making sure to get it in between the slices.
- If you have any remaining cheese mixture, you can spread it over the top of the bread.
Wrap in Foil:
Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil, leaving the top exposed.
Bake:
- Place the wrapped bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy on the outside.
Unwrap and Broil (Optional):
- If you like a crispy top, you can unwrap the bread and broil it for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
Remove the bread from the oven, sprinkle with a bit more fresh parsley if desired. Serve the cheesy pull-apart bread while it’s still warm. It’s perfect for sharing and pulling apart with friends and family.
As you savour each cheesy, pull-apart bite, may the warmth of the holiday season fill your home, and may this delightful recipe become a cherished tradition for creating memories and spreading joy with those you hold dear. Happy holidays and happy baking from Rabba Fine Foods and Tre Stelle Cheese!
