Mississauga, September 15, 2026 – The Brampton Golf Club was decked out in red recently at the 28th annual Rabba Roots Charity Golf Classic. The choice of colour was inspired by Rabba, lead sponsor of the event, and a contagious expression of pride shared among Rabba’s long list of local and regional partners who gathered in Brampton to celebrate their collective efforts in building community over the past year.
The annual event has become a platform to highlight the work of Rabba and its partners in delivering quality service and value to customers, but also to recognize the important work of local charities that receive donations from Rabba Roots, Rabba’s community investment program. Last year, Rabba Roots donated cash and in-kind products, real-estate space and time to a wide assortment of organizations including Trillium Health Partners, Food Banks Mississauga, Good Shepherd Ministries and the Grocery Foundation, as well as local schools and other community groups.
“This event has become a deep-rooted tradition for all of us,” said Rick Rabba, President of Rabba Fine Foods. “Through it, we make an important statement that our communities matter tremendously to us. And we’re touched, year after year, to see the extent to which our business partners agree. Yet again, they have come out in large numbers to help us celebrate the contributions and activities of the past year, and to look ahead toward the future.”
Maple Leaf Foods, Lassonde, Coca-Cola, Italpasta and numerous other new and longstanding partners made the event a resounding success. With the help of its partners, Rabba has been able to support local organizations that provide access to food, health and essential services across the GTA.
