Rabba Fine Foods wins top convenience industry award for sustainability and food waste reduction initiatives

The Convenience Store News Canada Impact Awards recognize convenience partners working to create a greener industryMississauga, September 5, 2024—Rabba Fine Foods is a winner of Convenience Store News Canada’s 2024 Impact Awards in the sustainability category. This marks the third consecutive year Rabba Fine Foods has won this award, previously winning in the community giving category and for its efforts in sustainability. The Convenience Store News Canada Impact Awards recognize industry leaders who are making a positive impact in the world.Rabba was recognized for its work in sustainability and food waste reduction. Rabba Fine Foods implemented an initiative to install solar panels at its distribution centre.  Rabba has also established a strong partnership with Food Banks Mississauga to minimize food waste with a food rescue retail program that allows the food bank network access to fresh, in-store products.
