Mississauga, Ont., September 11, 2023 – The Rabba Fine Foods Street Shuffle did not disappoint, filling the community of Port Credit with rhythms of blues and jazz, featuring live entertainment from 20 different local artists, dancers, and musicians. More than 25,000 visitors were welcomed and enjoyed the fun.
Rabba Fine Foods was once again the title sponsor of the annual Port Credit Blues and Jazz Festival, known as the Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle, which celebrated its 25th edition this year. Rabba Fine Foods has been a part of this event for 15 years and on Saturday September 9, the here for you grocer kicked off its seventh year as title sponsor of the jazz festivals popular Rabba Fine Foods Street Shuffle.

Jack Rabba, founder of Rabba Fine Foods, kicked off the event off with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting followed by a performance by the Top Hat Marching Orchestra. Rabba hosted sampling stations in partnership with four of its longtime partners. Lassonde offered orange juice and Sunrype fruit bar samples, Maple Leaf Foods offered Schnieders Pepperettes. There was a Redbull sampling area as well as ConAgra serving Angie’s Boom Chicka Popcorn.

Towards the end of the festival, there was a Mardi Gras second line. It was a spectacular sight as a Dixieland band started on Hurontario and Lakeshore, taking the audience through into Memorial Park, as everyone held umbrellas and blew whistles.
Rabba Fine foods will return to support the event next year, in September 2024.
