Mississauga, Ont., June 9, 2026 – Rabba Fine Foods joined thousands of community members at Port Credit Memorial Park on Sunday, June 7, to support the fifth annual Hazel McCallion Walk for Health. To help celebrate the day, Rabba teamed up with its major partner, Nestlé Ice Cream, to welcome participants and families with complimentary frozen treats, honouring the legacy of Mississauga’s beloved civic leader.
Rabba’s participation reflects its long-standing partnership with Trillium Health Partners (THP) Foundation, spanning nearly 30 years. This event highlights Rabba’s continued commitment to its $250,000 multi-year pledge through the Rabba Roots community programme. These funds provide ongoing support for major healthcare initiatives across the region, including the redevelopment of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, as well as vital funding for women’s health and other specialized medical services.

“Supporting Trillium Health Partners is an investment in the health and well-being of the communities we serve every day,” says Rick Rabba, President of Rabba Fine Foods. “We were delighted to be part of this year’s Walk for Health alongside Nestlé Ice Cream, and to continue our support for THP as they expand critical care and women’s health services for local families.”
The Hazel McCallion Walk for Health is a key event for the region, bringing together residents, health professionals, and local businesses to ensure the community has access to high-quality healthcare close to home.
