Easy Easter Chocolate Traybake

A simple and festive Easter dessert that’s perfect for baking with family!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chocolate icing
  • 1/2 cup mini eggs and other Easter chocolates

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 20 x 30 cm traybake tin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the oil, sugar, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda, stirring briefly until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until risen and firm.
  5. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Spread the chocolate icing over the cake and decorate with mini eggs and Easter chocolates.
  7. Slice and enjoy!
