Holiday Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup of salted cold butter.
- 1/2 cup of white sugar.
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of flour
- Knead by hand or mix with an electric beater, butter sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Add the flour and knead or mix until well combined and feels like play-dough.
- Form dough in a ball, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough out until it is about 1/2 an inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Decorate as desired when cool!
